Incredible Tatami Room Upgrade
I had the most wonderful experience at a hotel in Minakami. Upon arrival, the staff kindly upgraded me to a spacious and luxurious tatami room. It truly felt like a castle compared to other hotels I've stayed at. The futon was soft and comfortable, and the sheets and towels were clean. The helpful staff provided me with a map and assisted me in finding everything I needed in the village. The breakfast buffet offered a wide range of choices, both Japanese and Western, and the quality was excellent. The only downside was that some areas of the hotel seemed a bit dated, but overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

During our Easter weekend getaway, we enjoyed the spacious, comfortable rooms with amazing views of the surrounding mountains and river. The onsen facilities were clean and well-maintained, providing a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. We also appreciated the friendly and attentive staff who were always ready to assist us.
the lack of in-room Wi-Fi was inconvenient, and the smoking area being indoors detracted from the overall experience.

The large tatami room was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast had a good selection of Japanese and Western options. The hotel was conveniently located near convenience stores and restaurants.
The exterior of the hotel looked old and run down. The onsen facilities were not as large as expected and the water temperature was not very hot.

We loved the hotel facilities, with plenty of public and private onsens to choose from. The breakfast had a good variety of traditional and local food. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable.
Nothing not too like.

This hotel is situated on a scenic location on a river beneath, and it's conveniently close to the town center and the train station. The lobby is a welcoming space, and the staff is friendly. The rooms are spacious, and the guests can enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains and river from them. The onsen facilities are quite enjoyable, and the private ones are available at a reasonable price.
The hotel's age shows in some parts, and it could use renovation.
